I am honored to call Smithfield home. As a long-time Cache Valley resident, husband, father, and grandfather, I have a deep personal investment in the well-being and future of our community. For nearly two decades, I have owned and operated Aaron’s Elite Auto Service, where I’ve learned firsthand the value of hard work, fiscal responsibility, and delivering results for the people who depend on you.

Public service has always been a part of my life. I have served as Vice Chair of the Local Teenage Republicans, County Precinct Delegate, State Delegate, Vice Chair of the Cache County North District, and as a member of Utah’s State Central Committee. I also dedicated 10 years to the U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps, including 8 years in leadership roles guiding young people through mentorship, discipline, and service. This experience has instilled in me the values of teamwork, discipline, and service, which I believe are crucial for effective leadership in our community.

If elected Mayor, my unwavering commitment will be to foster responsible growth, strengthen our infrastructure, and cultivate a vibrant local economy. Smithfield, with its tremendous potential, needs proactive, transparent, and accountable leadership. My plan is a testament to this commitment.

• Strengthening Infrastructure – Addressing aging water systems, roads, and public facilities to ensure they meet the needs of a growing population.

• With my entrepreneurial experience, I will champion our local businesses and ensure economic vitality while preserving Smithfield’s unique character. My dedication to fiscal responsibility means I will always strive to protect our residents from unnecessary tax burdens.

• Fiscal Responsibility – Holding the line on property taxes and utility rates whenever possible, while pursuing grants and outside funding before asking residents to pay more. In my business, I have consistently managed our finances prudently, leading to a 20% increase in revenue over the past five years without raising prices for our customers.

• Community Engagement – Increasing transparency and inviting residents into the decision-making process through regular updates, public workshops, and clear communication.

• Parks and Recreation Investment – Maintaining and improving our parks, trails, and public spaces so every family can enjoy a high quality of life.

My vision is for a Smithfield that grows with intention. Balancing opportunity with preservation, ensuring that our children and grandchildren inherit a community as strong and welcoming as the one we love today. I believe in finishing what we start, using our resources wisely, and working together as neighbors to get things done.
